Pediatric Physical Therapy
Pediatric Physical Therapists at MUSC specialize in treating children from birth to adolescents with
therapeutic and rehabilitative needs. Treatment is individualized, family centered and interdisciplinary.
Some of the services offered include:
- Strength, endurance and exercise training
- Mobility and functional training including bed mobility, transfers and wheelchair mobility
- Evaluation for equipment and orthotics to increase independence and enhance performance
- Pedicatric aquatics program at a community pool
- Developmental program

Our pediatric therapists serve an active role in your child's health care should our services
be needed. We work closely with your child's health care team and provide care on both an outpatient and inpatient basis.
