Craniofacial Anomalies & Cleft Palate Clinic

CFA PatientThe MUSC Craniofacial Anomalies Team is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to the care of patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial abnormalities. The MUSC team is recognized by the American Cleft Palate Association and includes representatives from the fields of audiology, genetics, oral surgery, orthodontics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, pediatric dentistry, plastic surgery and speech and language pathology. Other disciplines, such as neurosurgery and orthopaedics, are available to patients as needed.

The MUSC Craniofacial Anomalies Team is associated with Children's Rehabilitation Services (CRS) and Charleston Clefts, a local family support group. Team members become involved with the child from the moment of birth. Team members also are available to families to offer support and respond to questions and concerns.
