Pediatric Cardiology
 The cardiology specialists at MUSC Children's Hospital provide both inpatient and outpatient diagnosis,
treatment and follow-up services for a full range of pediatric heart disorders and our
cardiology specialists serve as the remarkable expertise and tertiary referral center for the Children's Heart Program of
South Carolina.
Since the earliest days of congenital heart surgery, all of the specialists caring for children
with heart disease in the state of South Carolina have worked together to coordinate care
and provide the best possible outcomes to our patients. Today more than 20 pediatric cardiologists
throughout South Carolina and three pediatric cardiac surgeons in Charleston provide
that coordinated care. Cardiology groups are based in four locations:
- Charleston
- Columbia
- Greenville
- Florence
We also offer outreach clinics in a variety of other statewide cities.
To optimize the care of the most critical patients, all of the surgical and
catheterization procedures are performed in The Children's Heart Center at the
MUSC Children's Hospital. This allows for the highest level of care by our
specialized teams while still assuring that most of the patient's care is
delivered closer to home. This coordinated approach is unique to our state and we
are proud to work so closely with our statewide colleagues to provide it.
The Children's Heart Center is located on the 6th floor of the Children's Hospital. We see patients Monday through
