Skin Sweating Disorders

Sweat glands under the skin produce sweat to help keep the body cool. Sweating increases with warmer temperatures, stress, or nervousness. Sweat consists of water, salt, and other chemicals produced and excreted from the body.

There are several sweating disorders that require clinical care by a physician or other healthcare professional. Listed in the directory left are some, for which we have provided a brief overview.
