A Single Access point for Oracle Database Administrators through the WEB

I don't quite know how much easier it can get. I downloaded DBAConnect from Datasparc, clicked on the download file to install the software, went through the normal Start-> Programs-> DBAConnect -> Start Web Server and then the same Start-> Programs-> DBAConnect-> Launch and had a web interface to my databases within my network. Well, I did have to login as an administrator to add the connection information but was basically up and running within 5 minutes. Oh, and the other DBAs in my office where also able to access from their desktops. The beauty of this, as with any web application is that the software doesn't have to be deployed to everyone in the enterprise that needs access to it. It was like I had an instant solution for all my DBAs and they didn't need to do anything.

Now that I was "in" and had access to my databases with this product, I quickly became aware of the ease it was to browse the system catalog and perform some administration functions. I will take a look at those functions tomorrow. I would suggest you just go and download this package and install on you local workstation.

It will only take you 5 minutes!
