Nurse Educator – PCICU, Telemetry & Same Day Observation Units
The Educator develops and conducts education programs that enable staff to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to support units and Service Line and Medical Center goals. Goals include achievement of clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets as well as population/age specific needs of the assigned departments. Requires clinical expertise, knowledge of health care trends, and community and regional resources. Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years of demonstrated RN experience in these clinical specialty areas required. Master's degree preferred. (Position #002495)
Registered Nurse II – Pediatric Oncology/Sub Specialty Unit
We have an immediate need for experienced pediatric nurses interested in the
pediatric oncology specialty. This 22 bed unit cares for patients from 2 weeks t
o 29 years old requiring diagnosis/treatment of hematology/oncology, renal/urologic
abnormalities and endocrine dysfunction. Under general supervision, the registered
nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients
at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process;
delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care
team to achieve desired results.
Registered Nurse II – 7A Peds Med/Surg Unit
This 22 bed unit cares for patients from 4-18 years old with acute medical, post-surgical needs, trauma or burns. We will be expanding in the near future and are looking for additional dynamic employees to join the team. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and one year of RN work experience, preferably in a pediatric setting. Night shift position.
Nurse Manager – Peds Cath Lab & Outpatient Procedure Areas
The Nurse Manager reports to the Director and ensures the provision of his/her departments in collaboration with other health professionals in an environment that is respectful of others, accountable for outcomes and adaptive to change. Responsible for planning and comprehensive operations of Pediatric Cath Lab, Procedure areas and Recovery areas on a 24-hour basis. This includes GI procedures, patients requiring moderate sedation and minor procedures. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred, or an education plan to obtain a master's degree, and three years of management experience in a nursing setting. Current South Carolina licensure or licensure in a compact state as a registered nurse and Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
