Thanks so much for interest in volunteering at MUSC Children's Hospital. All of our volunteer positions are currently full. We will begin accepting applications again in August for placement in the Fall. Thank you for your patience.

At MUSC Children's Hospital we treasure our volunteers. From providing companionship and play activities for our children to assisting clinic and hospital staff with administrative tasks, our volunteers help fulfill our mission of providing the best quality healthcare for the children and families we serve.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to adults and students over the age of 16 at our hospital. Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, and the specific requirements of the programs we offer, we are unable to place every applicant. Please review the requirements below before submitting your application.

Our Application Process
Typically, the application process takes approximately four to six weeks and applications received after the 20th of each month will not be reviewed until the following month. Acceptance into the program is contingent upon the completion of the following steps:

Complete application
Criminal background check
Interview
Health screen
General Orientation
Orientation to selected volunteer area

Donating goods and services to MUSC Children's Hospital

There is a variety of Children's Hospital logo clothing available in children and adult sizes. All proceeds benefit the programs and services offered by the MUSC Children's Hospital Volunteer Program.
