Fainting in Children: Is it Something Serious?

Fainting doesn’t always indicate something serious such as a heart condition or arrhythmia. Dr. Philip Saul, a pediatric cardiologist, explains various reasons for fainting whether it is sports related, dehydration or a viral infection. If it is thought to be related to a cardiac condition, Dr. Saul explains how an electrocardiogram (ECG) will be used to measure the electrical activity of the heart and what procedures can be done to reduce arrhythmia.
