Standard In-Patient Visitation Policy

  • Standard visiting hours for MUSC Children’s Hospital are 9am to 9pm, daily.

  • ALL visitors are required to register for a visitor’s pass in the Children’s Hospital Lobby prior to entering any inpatient unit or floor.  This pass must be worn for the duration of the visit.

  • Children over the age of 3 may visit with adult supervision. Please talk with the nursing staff to make these arrangements.

  • For the safety of our patients, any visitor showing signs of illness is asked not to visit the Children’s Hospital.  Signs and symptoms include, but are not limited to persistent cough, sneezing, rash, fever, chills, weakness, fatigue, vomiting and dizziness.

  • MUSC reserves the right to limit or restrict visitation. If you need help, please contact the nearest Guest Relations Representative or call 843-792-6736.
