Welcome from the Chief Residents
David Mills, MD

As chief, I hope to place an emphasis on integrating new technology into our educational plan, by enhancing morning report and our weekly board review, as well as being a member of the planning committee for our Simulation Lab curriculum. My goal is to keep MUSC on the cutting edge of pediatrics, and a model for other residency programs to emulate across the country. I am excited about my role as a resident advocate as well as a clinical educator, and hope that my enthusiasm is infectious.

As chief, I have goals of improving the educational aspects for the residents using all the resources available. An important theme to our endeavors includes incorporating technology into the learning environment. We plan to achieve this by using the internet, personal storage devices, and the state of the art simulation lab... all of this with the goal in mind of training the best pediatricians.
