Speech-Language Pathology

Speech-language pathology at MUSC Children's Hospital is a part of the Evelyn Trammell Institute for Voice and Swallowing. The Institute specializes in therapeutic intervention for speech, language, voice, resonance, feeding and swallowing deficits. In order to provide the right care for children with complex medical conditions, the speech-language pathology team consults frequently with pediatric subspecialists in such areas as otolaryngology (ENT), pulmonology, developmental pediatrics, neurology, gastroenterology, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
