PCICU Family Information: Ronald McDonald House Rules
Please follow the rules below when staying at the Ronald McDonald House:
- Smoking is not allowed in the house.
- No alcoholic beverages, drunken behavior, illegal drugs or firearms will be allowed on the premises.
- Food is to be eaten in the dining room, kitchen or outdoor porches only.
- Clean kitchen immediately after eating. Rinse dishes and place in dishwasher. Wipe off counters and tables.
- Children must be supervised at all times. No one under 18 may be in the house without a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for one daily household chore.
- Keep common areas neat.
- Family or friends other than those listed in the office must be registered before staying the night. Only registered guests are permitted to have the door code.
- Once your child gets a room with a chair bed, you are expected to move out of the Ronald McDonald House.
- No one exposed to chicken pox, measles, mumps or other contagious diseases within the last four weeks or has received a polio vaccine in the past eight weeks, or is currently ill, will be allowed to stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
