Visitor Information
What is the visiting policy?
Parents are welcome to visit anytime. Regular visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Two people
are allowed to visit a patient at one time. Children under the age of 12 may visit in special situations.
Please talk with nursing staff to make these arrangements. All visitors need to check in with the first
floor information desk to get a visitor's badge. For the health and safety of our patients, all visitors
must be well, with no colds or fever.
Can parents spend the night?
One parent is encouraged to stay overnight, unless your child is staying in an intensive care unit.
Parents with children in the intensive care unit may stay in the waiting room on the 7th floor (room 776)
or on the 8th floor (room 843). Room 776 is reserved for families needing a quiet and peaceful place (the room
has chairs/sleepers for those needing some rest). Family members accompanying patients should bring sufficient
funds for meals and accommodations. Visitors under 18 years old are not allowed to stay overnight in the Children's
Hospital. General visitation is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Special care units have other visiting times. Please ask for
information from the nursing staff about visitation as the hours vary.
For your convenience we have compiled information about local accommodations.
It is recommended that parents/caregivers get quality rest while their child is in the hospital.
