2009 Holiday Cards
The holiday season is upon us!!!!! Support your favorite MUSC Children's Hospital "Kids Helping Kids" Holiday Card artists by purchasing packs of Holiday Cards. With 30 local sponsors underwriting the cost of the project, ALL proceeds benefit the Children's Hospital Fund. Each pack contains 16 cards of original artwork by patients, siblings of patients and young friends of the children's hospital. We are also selling Photo Frame Cards this year.

19th Annual Reindeer Run
The Charitable Society of Charleston presents the 19th Annual Reindeer Run sponsored by Piggly Wiggly and Half Moon Outfitters on Saturday, December 5th. Bring out your family, friends, and dogs for this festive 5K though the streets of downtown Charleston. Proceeds benefit the MUSC Children's Hospital Fund. Charleston Classic Basketball Tournament
The Charleston Classic Basketball Tournament will be held at the Carolina First Arena, November 19-22, 2009. The tournament is sponsored by ESPN and proceeds will be donated to MUSC Children's Hospital. Featured teams for this tournament are South Carolina, Tulane, UNCW, South Florida, Miami, Penn State and LaSalle. Discount tickets are availble for all MUSC employees. Find out more! (pdf)

MUSC Children's Hospital has been ranked for children's heart programs in U.S. News Media Group's 2009 edition of America's Best Children's Hospitals, published online at www.usnews.com/childrenshospitals and featured in the August issue of U.S. News & World Report, available on newsstands July 21.

Going to D.C. for Ill Children
Matthew Chase talks about his upcoming trip to Washington with members of the MUSC Children's Hospital. Matthew, who underwent three open-heart surgeries by age 3 at the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital, will represent MUSC this week when he goes to Washington for the 2009 National Association of Children's Hospitals Family Advocacy Day. Representatives will meet with their state's legislators to push for affordable health insurance coverage and specialized, quality care.
